On October 1, authorities conducted searches at FlyOne’s headquarters and ten other locations, a move the airline’s CEO Vladimir Cebotari says does not target the company itself but its associates, and relates to a new case unknown to FlyOne.

The Service Fiscal de Stat opened a money‑laundering investigation after an analytical study linked more than 66 million lei of FlyOne’s 2015 capital to unclear financial sources, including large cash deposits and transfers from individuals without clear legal coverage; loans from firms such as Logistic INT SRL, Tandem‑Aero SRL and Maxmod SRL totalled over 35 million lei, while significant sums were transferred by Tudor Carabadjac, Maria Cebotari and co‑founder Nicu Berla.
