GE Aerospace Foundation pledges $1 million for Alabama aerospace training program

The GE Aerospace Foundation announced a $1 million investment to support industry workforce training across Alabama through its Lifting Futures program.

Lifting Futures aims to train 10,000 workers in multiple communities by 2030, with first‑year grants expected to benefit more than 400 people and to provide Let’s Go Aerospace magazine subscriptions to all public middle‑school libraries in Montgomery and surrounding counties. Since becoming a standalone company in 2024, GE Aerospace and its Foundation have supported more than 20 workforce programs that have helped nearly 10,000 individuals, including a $100,000 donation to Calhoun Community College in Huntsville in 2024.
