Houthis claim attack on Riyadh airport, flights suspended

The Houthi movement said it struck Riyadh’s King Khaled International Airport with drones and missiles.

The Houthis targeted King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, saying they used drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles. Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree added that the Aramco refinery at Rabigh, other military sites and southern airports were also hit. Flights were suspended at Riyadh following the alleged attack.
Airspace warning
The Houthi movement warned airlines that Saudi airspace could become a military theatre. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency issued a bulletin on 30 September recommending avoidance of a zone around Jeddah at all altitudes until 16 November.
