Leeds Bradford Airport faces two‑day strike by 130 staff starting Oct 16

Nearly 130 workers at Leeds Bradford Airport, including air traffic control, customer experience, security and cleaning staff, are set to strike over pay disputes, with the first walkout beginning at 3 am on Friday, 16 October for hourly‑paid employees and at 6 am for air traffic control personnel.
The industrial action is planned to continue until 6 am on Sunday, 18 October; Unite warns the strike will effectively force the airport to close because aircraft cannot take off or land without air traffic control, while the airport says it expects to run near‑normal operations during the period.
