Nepal Airlines has grounded four of its six aircraft, leaving only two A330 and A320 in operation, and it cancelled its Malaysia flight on Saturday night, placing affected passengers in a hotel.

The grounding followed an oil leakage in the left engine of an A320 that returned from Delhi on Tuesday night, leaving 85 passengers stranded in Malaysia and more than 150 waiting to return, while the airline ordered spare parts for the aircraft.

The spare parts are expected to arrive on Sunday and be installed by Tuesday night, which should enable the A320 to resume service.
