- The Civil Office of Emergency (COE) placed 15 provinces and the Distrito Nacional under different alert levels due to a trough across the country, assigning yellow alerts to Puerto Plata, Espaillat and La Vega and green alerts to Dajabón, Elías Piña, San Juan, Santiago Rodríguez, Santiago, Sánchez Ramírez, Monseñor Nouel, Duarte, Monte Plata, San Cristóbal, San Pedro de Macorís, Distrito Nacional and Santo Domingo.
- Indomet reported that the trough will bring humidity and instability, producing showers with thunderstorms, wind gusts and possible hail in the north and northeast provinces, while the eastern plain, the Central Cordillera and the border zone could also be affected; maritime zones are expected to see increased waves, reduced visibility from showers, lightning and wind gusts.
