Gol Linhas Aéreas withdrew its Boeing 737‑800, registration PR‑GTC, from service after operating since August 2006, with its last commercial flight occurring in August and its final passenger service ending on 12 August.

The aircraft was parked at Belo Horizonte‑Confins International Airport before being shipped to the United States for disassembly, departing the fleet on Sunday the 27th, with the disassembly work expected to take place at Coolidge Municipal Airport.
