Long‑time member
Committee member and pilot Lawrence Salvestrin, aged 71, has been involved with the club for more than 30 years. He earned his licence in 1993 after instruction from Ron Gibbons and Ian Fulton, later purchasing and restoring a 1951 Vietnam‑era Cessna Bird Dog, which he has owned for 23 years.
