Turkey to receive first two UK‑supplied C‑130J transports in December 2026

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced that the first two of twelve C‑130J military transport aircraft supplied from the United Kingdom are scheduled for delivery in December 2026, with the remaining aircraft to arrive in stages after maintenance work in the UK is completed.

Training for Turkish personnel is underway, with six pilots and six technicians being trained in the United States and twenty‑nine maintenance staff receiving instruction in the United Kingdom, after which type‑specific maintenance and operational duties will be performed in Turkey.
