Oshkosh Airport Products launches five‑day ARFF maintenance training in Appleton

Oshkosh Airport Products is offering a five‑day aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting course at its headquarters near Appleton, Wisconsin. The program is split into two separate tracks, one covering Gen 2 and Gen 3 Striker ARFF chassis maintenance and the other focusing on firefighting system maintenance. Each track accepts roughly 20 technicians to ensure hands‑on guidance and direct work with the vehicle.

The curriculum combines instructor‑led discussions, practical exercises, and simulated maintenance problems so participants can learn to diagnose and resolve realistic issues on an actual ARFF vehicle. Attendees are taught a systematic troubleshooting process they can apply when real‑world problems arise, enhancing their capability to maintain critical emergency response equipment.
