DGAC launches digital platform for height certificates in Ecuador

Ecuador's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) has launched an online platform that allows users to submit and monitor height certificate requests around the clock from any location in the country.

The height certificate, required for buildings and structures near airports to ensure operational safety, is also a prerequisite for obtaining municipal construction permits, and the new system is part of the Ministry of Telecommunications and the Information Society's Simplification of Procedures Plan.
