Flydubai 737 MAX 8 makes emergency descent, lands in Tabuk after hijack alerts

A Flydubai Boeing 737 MAX 8 operating from Dubai to Tel Aviv descended rapidly from about 33‑34,000 feet to 14‑17,000 feet, altered its course toward Saudi Arabia and transmitted a 7700 general emergency code followed by a 7500 hijack code before landing safely in Tabuk.

Images released from the cockpit show the pilot lying in blood, and the incident has sparked a large commotion while an investigation remains ongoing.
