Air Canada will restart flights to Quito’s Mariscal Sucre International Airport in early December, adding nonstop routes to Montreal and Toronto. The airline will operate three weekly flights to Montreal and one weekly flight to Toronto using Boeing 787‑8 and 787‑9 aircraft respectively.

Air Canada will resume operations in December with nonstop flights to Montreal and Toronto from Quito’s Mariscal Sucre International Airport. The Montreal–Quito service starts on 4 December and will run three times per week with a Boeing 787‑8. The Toronto–Quito service starts on 5 December and will run once per week with a Boeing 787‑9. The new direct flights are intended to strengthen Quito’s connectivity with North America. Increased North‑American connectivity can boost passenger volumes for airlines, generate additional revenue for the airport, and give travel sellers more product options.
