- The Long Thành International Airport project is being carried out in four component projects that include integrated road, rail and urban rail infrastructure, with Component 1 having completed basic infrastructure for state management agencies and Component 2 finishing the main items of the air traffic control tower and specialized aviation equipment.
- Component 3, led by Vietnam Airports Corporation, has a total capital of nearly 99,000 billion VND and comprises the passenger terminal, runway, apron and technical infrastructure; it contains 16 main construction packages, of which four have been completed, eight are on schedule and the remaining four are still on blueprint, bringing the overall project to about 80% completion and targeting operational start in December 2026.
