Former lawmaker Akhtaruzzaman arrested after assault on security staff at Dhaka airport
Former lawmaker Major (retd) Akhtaruzzaman was arrested in connection with an alleged assault on a security official at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. The incident occurred around 10:40 am near the baggage belt area after passengers from Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG‑338 from Madinah experienced luggage delays.1
