Airbus Spain workers vote to end strikes with new wage and flexibility deal
Airbus employees in Spain voted to accept a proposal that would end the strikes that have lasted for months, with 87% of the workforce taking part in the ballot and 20.3% voting against the offer while 3% abstained.1
The agreement, reached in early September between Airbus and four unions, provides compensation for lost purchasing power, inflation‑indexed wage increases, greater flexibility in vacation scheduling and a return to 40% mobile work, and Airbus says the outcome will allow it to maintain a solid and competitive position in Spain.1
