Sidharatha Mishra appointed COO and soon MD/CEO of ICICI Life Insurance
ICICI Life Insurance named Sidharatha Mishra as chief operating officer effective October 6, and announced he will become managing director and chief executive officer on October 14, succeeding Anup Bagchi who is stepping down after nearly three decades with the ICICI Group.1
Mishra began his career as a management trainee at ICICI Bank in 1998 and has spent more than 26 years in banking, almost entirely with the same group, marking a transition of leadership from one long‑serving ICICI veteran to another.1
