Reliance to Invest Rs 1 Lakh Crore in Andhra Pradesh for Biogas and Advanced Manufacturing

Reliance Industries announced a plan to invest Rs 1 lakh crore in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, aiming to create over 3 lakh jobs and generate nearly Rs 60,000 crore in revenue for the state over the coming decades.1

The investment will include the establishment of compressed biogas plants that will convert organic waste such as agricultural residue, animal dung, food waste and other biomass into methane-rich gas, while also supporting clean‑energy projects in Rayalaseema and advanced manufacturing initiatives, and the Indian School of Agriculture will integrate artificial intelligence and modern technology with traditional farming knowledge.1
