Honolulu Control issues advisory for Freeway Five Arrival into HNL
Honolulu Control Facility has issued a local traffic advisory to address recent pilot deviations caused by incorrect entry procedures at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. Aircraft assigned the Freeway Five Arrival for runway 8L can expect clearance into Class B airspace via the Freeway Five Arrival, runway 8L.1
Pilots are required to follow all other VFR arrival instructions described in the Chart Supplement Pacific, and at Fort Shafter they are expected to enter left downwind to runway 8L.
