American Express and Marriott launch limited‑time bonus points campaign in Japan
American Express and Marriott International announced a promotion in Japan that runs until October 5, offering bonus Marriott Bonvoy points to new cardholders of two affiliated cards.1
The Marriott Bonvoy American Express Premium Card (annual fee 82,500 yen) grants 10,000 points after 30 million yen of spend within three months and 45,000 points after 150 million yen, while the standard Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card (annual fee 34,100 yen) provides the same thresholds; both cards also confer Gold Elite status, and the premium card adds Platinum Elite after 500 million yen of annual use, with all rewards credited as Marriott Bonvoy points.1
