Emirates halts code‑share with FlyDubai on Tel Aviv routes after in‑flight stabbing

Emirates has immediately stopped code‑sharing flights from Tel Aviv with FlyDubai and will not accept passengers whose final destination is Tel Aviv, directing them to contact travel agencies or the airline’s call centre. The decision follows a September 30 incident on a FlyDubai Dubai‑Tel Aviv flight where the co‑pilot stabbed the pilot, who was seriously injured, prompting an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Emirates says it will support passengers already en route to Tel Aviv to complete their journey.1

Affected travellers are advised to check Emirates’ official website for the latest information, while the airline’s suspension of the code‑share arrangement reflects operational and safety concerns arising from the violent incident on the FlyDubai aircraft.1
