AnimaWings files for restructuring and suspends flights
AnimaWings entered a restructuring process after filing with the Bucharest Court on 30 September 2026.1
The airline cited financial difficulties and technical problems with its Airbus A220 fleet as the main drivers of the crisis, leading to the removal of all six A220‑300 aircraft from service while retaining two Airbus A320s, and the restructuring aims to keep operations running and reorganise its financial obligations.1
