Erling Haaland sues Norwegian Air over World Cup ad featuring his ponytail
Erling Haaland has taken legal action against Norwegian Air Shuttle after the airline used a composite image of one of its aircraft with a ponytail resembling the footballer’s hairstyle in a World Cup advertisement released during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and shared the post on social media.1
Norwegian Air removed the post and a meeting between the judge and the legal teams is scheduled for October 9 at Oslo District Court.1
