Japan Airlines' share price overtakes ANA's and stays higher since early September
Japan Airlines' (JAL) share price moved above All Nippon Airways' (ANA) on September 4 and has remained higher thereafter, according to data tracked through early October.1
From April 22 to October 2, JAL's share price increased by 471 yen (18.7%) while ANA's rose by 121 yen (4.3%); the price gap narrowed from 252 yen on April 23 to 147.5 yen on April 30, and JAL's earlier gains of 328 yen (13.0%) by June 26 compared with ANA's 178 yen (6.3%) contributed to the crossover.1
