APEC Finance Ministers to Discuss AIIB‑Backed Digital Infrastructure Funding in Hong Kong
Finance ministers from APEC's 21 member economies will meet in Hong Kong later this month to discuss a digital infrastructure financing initiative.1
The initiative, prepared with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, aims to fund gaps in broadband, cloud computing and data centres, which are now described as behaving like ports that concentrate cargo, and will be considered as part of development policy.1
