Flydubai Cargo launches freighter service with three Boeing 737-800Fs from Dubai

Flydubai Cargo has introduced a freighter operation using three Boeing 737-800 aircraft, each capable of carrying 23 tonnes of payload, based at Al Maktoum International Airport. The airline will operate both point-to-point charter flights and scheduled freighter services across its network, targeting routes such as Doha, Kuwait, Erbil, Almaty, Karachi, Mumbai, Delhi, Hanoi and Nairobi. The first own‑schedule freighter flights are set to begin in October.1

The addition of dedicated freighter capacity expands Flydubai’s cargo offering and provides direct cargo links between the Middle East, South Asia and Africa, potentially enhancing trade flows for the regions served. Operating from Dubai World Central positions the service to leverage the airport’s cargo infrastructure and growth strategy.1
