Uganda's works and transport minister Fred Byamukama urged the country to use aviation as a driver of regional economic growth, highlighting the sector's role in integration, trade and tourism, and marking the return of Jambojet at Entebbe International Airport on October 1.1
Byamukama said that improved air connectivity is essential for unlocking opportunities in trade, tourism, investment and innovation, and affirmed the government's commitment to support regional integration initiatives, transport linkages, and to provide ongoing infrastructure and policy backing for aviation sector growth.1
