Multi‑agency emergency drill simulates plane crash at Solent Airport

Hampshire Constabulary, Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service and South Central Ambulance Service gathered at Solent Airport for a major multi‑agency training exercise that simulated a plane crash involving a fuel bowser collision and resulting fire.1
The planned scenario was designed to test emergency response coordination and allow police, firefighters and paramedics to practise working together in a large‑scale aviation incident at the airport.1
