RwandAir to add four Airbus A330‑200s and grow Europe, East Asia routes

RwandAir will receive four additional Airbus A330‑200 aircraft during its current fiscal year, adding to the single A330‑200 it took delivery of on 24 August 2026 and the third A330 it received in March 2023. The airline plans to use the new jets to expand its network into Europe and East Asia. It also intends to evaluate further destinations in those regions as part of its growth strategy.1
RwandAir’s fleet expansion is part of a broader goal to double its aircraft count within five years, which could increase capacity and connectivity for its European and East Asian markets. The additional A330‑200s will support this ambition by providing longer‑range capability and higher seat capacity.1
