Turkey to build 36‑km rail link between Ankara high‑speed station and Esenboğa Airport
Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced a 36‑kilometre rail system that will connect Ankara's high‑speed train terminal with Esenboğa Airport and include 12 stations.1
The line is designed to operate at 120 kilometres per hour and will feature a depot, workshop and parking area, while authorities aim to produce 14 high‑speed train sets by 2028 that can carry up to 577 passengers and reach test speeds of 250 kilometres per hour.1
