Stansted Airport starts building north terminal extension
Construction has begun on the north terminal extension at London Stansted Airport, with the former passenger bus facility and link bridge removed to make way for the works.1
The programme adds new passenger facilities and Skylink walkways to satellite buildings, aiming to increase capacity at the single‑runway airport, improve the journey for millions of passengers each year, and enable removal of the people mover system while supporting further terminal expansion.1
