Canada Rocket Company broke ground on a $30‑million rocket engine testing facility at London International Airport, with construction slated to begin this year.1

The site will be used for static testing of engines for the company’s planned reusable medium‑lift launch vehicle and is projected to create about 40 skilled jobs over the next 18 months, while the broader program could eventually support 1,000 jobs and attract more than $1 billion in investment over the next decade.1

The facility is expected to become fully operational in 2028.1
