JAL ABC launches on‑site suitcase repair service at Kansai Airport
JAL ABC began offering immediate suitcase repairs, including caster replacement and lock opening, at Kansai Airport on 1 October. The service is provided at the JAL ABC counter on the fourth floor of Terminal 1 and operates from 07:00 to 23:00 with the last acceptance at 20:00. Minnet Asia Pacific, operator of the Minnet brand, partnered with JAL ABC to deliver the service.1
Customers are charged 3,300 yen per caster or per lock opening, and each repair takes at least 15 minutes. The offering expands JAL ABC’s ground‑handling portfolio at Kansai and aims to reduce passenger inconvenience caused by luggage damage.1
