TEI to Deliver TF6000 Engine to Baykar for Kızılelma UAV by Early 2027

TEI General Manager Mahmut Faruk Akşit announced that the TF6000 turbofan engine will be delivered to Baykar by the end of this year or early 2027, provided there are no delays. The engine is intended for Baykar's Kızılelma unmanned combat aircraft. Akşit said the delivery schedule is conditional on the absence of delays.1
The TF6000 has completed numerous tests and reached flight maturity, and it will power the Kızılelma, which can reach a maximum speed of 0.9 Mach and has a maximum takeoff weight of 8.5 tons. TEI also plans to develop a larger TF10000 engine and conduct its tests before the end of next year.1
