Aero Norway signs multiyear LEAP engine MRO agreement with GE Aerospace
Aero Norway has signed a multiyear agreement with GE Aerospace to perform shop visits on high‑pressure turbine components for CFM LEAP‑1A and LEAP‑1B engines.1
The deal, Aero Norway's first of this type, expands the company into the CFM LEAP engine market and will support GE Aerospace's open MRO ecosystem by repairing LEAP high‑pressure turbine rotors and stage‑2 nozzle assemblies, while GE broadens its network of third‑party MRO providers as demand for LEAP maintenance rises, with more than 8,000 LEAP engines in service and a backlog exceeding 10,000.1
