Phnom Penh International Airport approves expanded master plan through 2030

The Ministry of Construction approved a revised master plan for Phnom Penh International Airport covering 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050, outlining layout changes and capacity growth.1
The plan adds a new apron between Terminal 1 and the VIP/hangar area with about 45 parking positions, expands the existing apron near Terminal 2 to 42 positions by 2030, and enlarges maintenance facilities to 30 ha while increasing fuel supply area to 7.2 ha, supporting higher aircraft handling and operational capability.1
