Former Turkish aviation regulator official cites harassment and pressure in flight schools
Oktay Erdağı, a former Deputy Director General of the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority, said flight schools are experiencing harassment, mobbing, threats, humiliation and psychological pressure, and that some students have been delayed or prevented from flying.1
He noted that many messages and complaints were received after the issue was discussed on the High Altitude program and warned that the problem may extend beyond a single school or incident, calling for an independent and reliable investigation.1
