NTSB report links speed and no brakes to 21 Air Boeing 767 crash

The National Transportation Safety Board released a preliminary report on a Boeing 767-33A cargo aircraft that departed the runway at Miami International Airport on September 6. The aircraft, owned by 21 Air and operating for Amazon, was on a flight from San Juan to Miami.1
The cockpit voice recorder captured the crew warning about high speed during the approach, while the speed brake and thrust reverser systems were not activated. The plane was traveling around 177 knots when it left the runway and about 160 knots on touchdown, then struck two cars and ignited a fire on its right wing.1
