Animawings submitted an application for insolvency proceedings to the Bucharest court on September 30, 2026, and six Airbus A220‑300 aircraft were grounded as a result.1
The airline still retains two Airbus A320s to operate part of its service, leaving it with a total fleet of eight aircraft, and no hearing date has been scheduled yet.1
