Malaysia Airlines and China Southern will broaden their codeshare partnership to five additional Malaysia‑China routes starting on 25 October 2026, adding services between Kuala Lumpur and Shenzhen, Changsha, Xiamen, Chengdu Tianfu and Zhengzhou. Fiji Airways reinstated direct flights between Nouméa, New Caledonia and Nadi, Fiji on 22 September 2026, operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays.1

The expanded codeshare gives passengers more connectivity between Southeast Asia and major Chinese cities, potentially boosting traffic for both carriers. The resumed Nouméa‑Nadi service restores a direct link in the South Pacific, enhancing travel options for tourists and business travelers in the region.1
