Turkey condemns Houthi attack on Medina infrastructure amid Saudi-Yemen strikes

Turkey condemned an attack on civilian infrastructure serving the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, blaming Yemen’s Houthis for the strike.1
The Saudi-led coalition reported that a Houthi drone hit the Taiba power distribution station on September 29, while its air defenses intercepted drones and ballistic missiles aimed at the Saudi cities of Khamis Mushait and Jazan; Saudi warplanes then struck Yemen’s capital Sanaa and areas in the provinces of Saada, Taiz and Amran, and Yemen’s government‑aligned military said it carried out airstrikes on Houthi positions in Taiz.1
