Boeing engineers and technicians ratify new contract, averting strike
Engineers and technicians at Boeing voted in favor of the latest contract offer, with the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) ratifying the agreement for U.S. workers.1
The contract includes higher pay and other benefits, lifting average engineer salaries to $208,000 from $152,000 and raising average technician pay to $163,000 from $119,000, while Boeing shares rose 3.4 percent following the ratification.1
