EASA extends Mali airspace warning to April 2027
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) extended its airspace warning for Mali until 30 April 2027, updating the notice on 30 September 2026 without altering its content.1
The advisory advises operators to avoid flights below flight level 260 within Mali’s territory in the Niamey and Dakar flight information regions, particularly in the northeastern part of the country, due to a high risk of attacks by armed non‑state groups that may possess portable air‑defence systems and ground‑to‑air missiles.1
