Japan Trans-Ocean Air to resume Itami‑Naha service with two daily round trips from Oct. 25
The Transportation Council approved Japan Trans-Ocean Air’s request for congested airport operation permits at Itami Airport, allowing the carrier to launch two round trips per day on the Itami‑Naha route starting October 25, marking its first return to Itami in 19 years.1
The council said the airline’s entry will promote competition and increase flight options for passengers, and confirmed that Japan Trans-Ocean Air has secured the required infrastructure, time slots, transportation and maintenance resources for the new service.1
