Wizz Air launches three new international routes from Salerno airport in June 2027
Wizz Air will begin operating three new international routes from Salerno Costa d'Amalfi and del Cilento airport on 6 June 2027, connecting the city with Budapest, Tirana and Warsaw.1
The launch follows a 62% year‑over‑year increase in Wizz Air's operational capacity at nearby Naples International Airport and a 133.6% growth in its 2026 summer season compared with the previous summer, prompting the airline to add a fourth aircraft to its Naples base in March 2027 that will serve Palermo, Nice, Basel and Genoa and provide roughly 500,000 extra seats.1
