National Jet Express to retire BAe 146 fleet after final flight on Oct 2, 2026
National Jet Express will withdraw its four BAe 146-300QT aircraft, with the last commercial flight scheduled for 2 October 2026 between Western Sydney (WSI) and Coolangatta/Gold Coast (OOL), after which the aircraft will return to Adelaide (ADL) for disposal.1
The withdrawal follows the end of the wet‑lease contract with Qantas Freight and the relocation of the cargo hub to Western Sydney International Airport, while Qantas is investing in its own A321P2F and A330‑200P2F aircraft; National Jet Express intends to sell the retired BAe 146s.1
