Aeroméxico ends service to Tulum as of September 30
Aeroméxico stopped flying to and from Tulum on September 30, with the suspension taking effect on October 1, and has not announced a date to resume flights. The airline had been operating seven weekly flights from Mexico City International Airport and four weekly flights from Felipe Ángeles International Airport to Tulum.1
The cessation reduces passenger traffic at the new Tulum airport, which began operations in December 2023, and leaves Aeroméxico among the carriers that previously served the airport.1
