Romanian carrier AnimaWings files for insolvency with entire A220 fleet grounded
AnimaWings, a Romanian airline, has filed for insolvency while none of its six Airbus A220-300 aircraft are operational and only its two Airbus A320s remain available, and it plans to run a reduced schedule.1
The company cited ongoing technical problems with the A220 fleet and exceptionally high fuel costs as reasons for the insolvency filing, and it has warned that cancellations may occur in the coming days.1
