Vedanta invests $200 million to boost Rajasthan oil output
Vedanta Oil and Gas announced a $200 million investment in its Rajasthan fields to increase crude production, focusing on the Mangla, Bhagyam and Aishwariya sites in northern Rajasthan.1
The company targets more than 150,000 barrels per day from the Mangla field and aims for a 60% recovery rate from its producing wells, while its average gross operated production was 77.7 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in the first quarter, with Rajasthan accounting for 81% of Vedanta's total output.1
