German Air Force conducts Eurofighter 'Dispersed Operation' at Nuremberg Airport Oct 5-9
The German Air Force will carry out its ‘Dispersed Operation’ exercise at Nuremberg Airport from October 5 to 9, 2026, using four Eurofighter jets that will perform a daily morning flight round with takeoffs and landings.1
The exercise, which will not involve armed aircraft, is designed to test the flexibility and operational capability of the force and to gather insights for long‑term sustainable flight operations, while regular civilian traffic will continue unaffected; the airport’s long‑standing cooperation with the military includes use as an alternative base for Tactical Air Force Wing 74 and other deployments.1
